1. About these terms
These terms apply to Lumen at lumen-dev.leveredgeai.com. “Lumen,” “we,” and “us” refer to the owner operating this private beta. You can contact the operator at [email protected].
By accessing or using the Lumen workspace, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the workspace. You can read these terms and the Privacy Policy without signing in. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement.
2. Approved access
Access is limited to email addresses approved by an administrator. Using Google sign-in or submitting a sign-up form does not guarantee approval. Use your own account, keep credentials and account links private, and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Users ordinarily begin with Reader access. Additional research, administrative, and spending permissions must be granted separately. You may use only the features your current permissions allow, and you may not share your account or transfer access to someone else.
3. Research and its limits
Lumen organizes public-source reporting, evidence, and research. Some features may use automated analysis or artificial intelligence when enabled. Results can contain mistakes, missing context, outdated information, conflicting sources, or uncertain conclusions. A citation identifies a source; it does not guarantee that the source or interpretation is correct.
Review original sources and the stated limitations before relying on a result. Lumen does not provide professional legal, medical, financial, or investment advice. You are responsible for your decisions and for obtaining qualified advice when needed.
Request histories are access-controlled, while source evidence and processing can be reused within the workspace. The operator can access information to administer and support Lumen. Ask the operator to review suspected errors or harmful attribution using the contact address below.
4. Spending and permissions
Ordinary reading of saved information does not start paid research. Where research submission is available, Lumen presents an estimate before submission and applies administrator-controlled permissions and limits. An estimate is not an invoice or a promise of exact usage, timing, or successful results.
Only an authorized administrator can enable metered services or change spending controls. Approval to read the workspace does not authorize you to incur additional costs. You must not bypass restrictions, split requests to evade a limit, or use another person’s authority.
Canceling a request or disabling a service may not reverse work already submitted to an outside provider or charges already incurred. Uncertain charges can continue to reserve budget while their outcome is unresolved. These terms do not authorize charging your payment account or create a paid subscription.
5. Acceptable use
Use Lumen for lawful research and follow applicable laws and source-access conditions. In particular, do not:
- Bypass sign-in, access restrictions, spending limits, or security protections.
- Disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, or attempt to access accounts or information you are not authorized to use.
- Submit passwords, secret keys, financial account credentials, or personal information you have no right to provide.
- Use the service for harassment, unlawful surveillance, identifying private people behind pseudonyms, or creating private-life or sensitive-trait dossiers.
- Misrepresent uncertain research as established fact or use source material in ways that violate another person’s rights.
6. Your content and outside sources
You retain any rights you have in information you submit. You give the Lumen operator permission to store, process, reproduce, and display that information as needed to provide the workspace, including making research available to authorized users and using enabled service providers. You must have the right to submit it for those purposes.
Publisher articles, quotations, images, and other third-party material remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable terms. Lumen does not grant you ownership of that material or permission to republish it beyond what the law or rights holder allows.
Links to outside sites are provided for reference. Their content, availability, and terms are controlled by their operators. Our handling of account and research information is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and responsibility
Lumen is a development beta. Features may be incomplete, disabled, changed, or temporarily unavailable. Research can be delayed by budgets, source availability, uncertainty, or missing services. Do not rely on this beta as the only copy of important information or as an emergency service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or opportunities, arising from use of or inability to use Lumen. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
8. Ending access and changes
You can stop using Lumen at any time. The operator may suspend or revoke access to enforce these terms, protect the service, or limit participation in the beta. Removing access ends permission to use the workspace; it does not automatically erase research, security, or spending records.
We may revise these terms as Lumen develops. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Material changes will also be brought to users’ attention in the application or by email when available. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the workspace.
Provisions that need to continue after access ends, including existing content rights, responsibility for prior use, and applicable limitations, continue to apply.
9. Contact and disputes
For questions, account concerns, corrections, or a dispute, contact the Lumen operator at [email protected] with enough detail to understand the issue. Please avoid including passwords or account-verification links.
These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
